According to the announcement, the move strengthens and expands DHR’s group benefits offerings (including medical, dental and vision insurance as well as employee retirement programs such as 401ks) and provides Benefit Advisors’ customers access to a broad portfolio of insurance, human resource and payroll services offered by DHR Insurance Services and its parent company, DHR.
Perry L. Peters, president and founder of Benefit Advisors, will assume the role of senior vice president of DHR Insurance Services.
“We welcome the Benefit Advisors team and their clients to the DHR family. Benefit Advisors’ expertise in group benefits will accelerate DHR’s strategic plan to ensure our customers have access to a comprehensive, flexible and customizable array of insurance and human resource services,” said Kevin Mencarelli, president and COO of DHR, LLC. “Our combined resources and talents will provide a greater variety of high-quality, tailored benefits solutions for our customers and their employees.”
DHR plans to utilize each Benefit Advisors employee as a result of merging the two companies’ operations. Physical operations will be consolidated into DHR Insurance Services offices in Phoenix over the next 30 to 60 days, according to the announcement.
