Dimensional Fund Advisors to Launch Retirement Share Classes
October 1, 2007 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Institutional
investment manager Dimensional Fund Advisors announced it
will launch two retirement share classes for defined
contribution plans.

The retirement share, or R share, classes pay a fee to parties who provide services to plans and their participants, according to a news release.
The share classes will carry 10 basis point and 25 basis point fees, respectively. The fees will be used to pay for services such as recordkeeping, the announcement said.
Dimensional ‘ s R shares contain no 12b-1 or distribution fees.
