DOL Schedules Health Benefits Seminars for May, July
April 4, 2014 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – The Department of Labor (DOL) is offering two free seminars about compliance with health benefit laws in Des Moines, Iowa, and Louisville, Kentucky.

The “Health Benefits Laws Compliance Assistance” seminars are designed to help employers comply with federal and state laws regarding their company’s health benefits. Seminar attendees will be able to:
- Speak with federal and state regulators;
- Ask experts questions about new laws and issues; and
- Receive practical information, helpful tips and clarification regarding state and federal health benefits laws.
In addition to state officials and the DOL, an IRS representative will attend the events.
The Des Moines seminar will be held Tuesday, May 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. More information is here.
The Louisville seminar will be held July 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. More information is here.
