DOL’s New Mexico Seminar to Cover Health Plans
June 3, 2014 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – The Department of Labor (DOL) will be holding a seminar in Santa Fe, New Mexico, on complying with laws about health plans.

Employers, as well as third-party administrators and insurance carriers, will be able to speak with regulators about any compliance issues with federal and New Mexico state laws pertaining to health plans. The DOL and the New Mexico Office of the Superintendent of Insurance will be offering information, tips and clarification regarding New Mexico and federal health benefits laws. A representative from the Internal Revenue Service will also be present.
This seminar is scheduled to be held at the Santa Fe Community College on August 5 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mountain Time. It is free and open to the public.
