Don’t Forget: April 4 is Benefits Day

April 4, 2011 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – Reminder, benefit plan sponsors and service providers, April 4 could be a big day in your world.

That’s because that has been designated by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP) as the seventh annual National Employee Benefits Day. More specifically, the group says, it’s “a time for anyone with employee benefit responsibilities including trustees, administrators, practitioners and professional advisers to recognize themselves and their colleagues for their dedication to providing quality benefits.”

To help with the festivities, the IFEBP has provided a special Web site at www.ifebp.org/benefitsday.

The Web site includes a full-list of benefits employers can offer, helpful government resources and a special discount on two communicating benefits books. Visitors will also find suggestions of how to celebrate, free e-cards and posters, and Benefits Day premium items, including National Employee Benefits Day t-shirts.
