D&T Offers New Data Analytics System

March 7, 2003 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Senior officials interested in finding better ways to aggregate data from their company's many data systems might be interested in a new analytical service from Deloitte & Touche LLP.

According to a news media release, Deloitte & Touche’s Applied Intelligence Methodology (AIM) includes 12 scorecards and a number of tables in order to analyze 140 variables in the financial and HR areas on a monthly basis.

The variables include:

  • employee productivity
  • efficiency
  • profitability
  • organizational structure
  • training
  • compensation
  • benefits
  • high potential turnover.

Deloitte & Touche said AIM uses proprietary technology to automatically extract data from existing systems without requiring data mining and warehousing procedures.

Senior-level officials who buy the service would also get access to its consultants to help analyze AIM’s results. The system can typically be implemented within 90 days, the announcement said.
