bank UFJ Trust Bank, looking for a little help with its
clients' pension fund assets, has joined forces with
Connecticut-based Bridgewater Associates Inc.

According to a report from Reuters, Bridgewater will manage part of the foreign currency-denominated assets that UFJ manages on behalf of employee pension funds.
The trust bank, a unit of UFJ Holdings Inc., hopes to acquire pension fund management expertise from Bridgewater, while the latter will now have access to the Japanese pension fund market, Reuters said.
