EBRI Names New Media Director
November 12, 2010 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - The nonpartisan Employee Benefit Research Institute (EBRI) has hired Tracey Young as its director of Media and Public Affairs.
Her responsibilities at EBRI include managing all news media, promoting EBRI’s educational initiatives, and serving as the external liaison for the Institute.
According to the announcement, Young has worked in the nonprofit and association arena for more than 10 years and was the media relations manager at the American Academy of Actuaries from 2001–2005.
Most recently, she was communications manager for the Prevent Cancer Foundation Company in Alexandria, VA. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Central State University and a master’s of journalism from Marshall University.
