The amendment adds to the Department of Health and Human Services’ previously released rules under the Affordable Care Act a list of women’s preventive services that group health plans must offer without charging a copayment, deductible or coinsurance. These additions were announced by the HHS (see HHS Issues New Guidelines for Women’s Preventive Services).
