Enron Employee Committee Tapped

March 28, 2002 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - The US Trustee administering Enron's bankruptcy has named a five-member employee committee to investigate worker issues, according to court papers.

Reuters said that committee members include:

  • Michael Moran 
  • Richard Rathvon
  • Diana Peters
  • Christie Patrick

and State Street Bank and Trust, the firm chosen by the US Labor Department to oversee how Enron manages employee retirement accounts.

Trustee Carolyn Schwartz asked the committee to:

  • investigate and distribute information about how employee health and other benefits are carried out
  • to examine employee claims against Enron and any restructured version of the company
  • and to look into possible violations of state labor laws and other statutes.
