Equifax to Purchase HR Software Maker eThority
October 4, 2011 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – Equifax Inc. agreed to buy eThority, reports the AP.

Equifax said that eThority will become part of TALX, its business-services unit. The financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
EThority, which is based in Charleston, South Carolina, provides software for human resources, higher education, and health care users, among others. The company says its software helps users collect and analyze data.
TALX, supports companies’ human resource, tax, and payroll-related operations. It helps them manage the cost of unemployment insurance for laid-off workers.
