Fido Beefs up Option Info Delivery

June 18, 2002 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Users of Fidelity Investments' automated phone system and PDA buffs can now get more information on their stock options through a new Fidelity Investments service.

According to the announcement, investors can now get option information over the phone as well as through Web-enabled phones and PDAs.

Domestic stock option plan participants can check their grant information, request quotes, exercise their options, review their trade orders and get their account balances through Fidelity’s Automated Service Telephone (FAST) system.

Participants also have view-only access to their stock option information through Fidelity Anywhere, the firm’s wireless trading platform. Fidelity Anywhere is available over several major wireless systems, including Sprint, Nextel, Verizon and Palm.net.
