Firm Unveils Domestic Investment with International Exposure

August 5, 2003 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Plan sponsors and other investors looking for an easy way to establish a global position in their portfolio have a new product to consider.

Money management firm Active Index Advisors (AIA) announced that it has created a new fund designed to give clients exposure to international stocks through a US traded, US dollar investment using American Depository Receipts (ADRs) and global shares trading in the US.

The AIA S&P International/ADR Strategy seeks to closely track the performance of the S&P ADR Index while holding approximately 50 to 60 securities, using a proprietary investment technique. S&P ADR Index includes 266 blue-chip stocks from 24 markets across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

By holding fewer stocks than the index, AIA reduces the cost of international investing for separate account investors who hold the individual stocks in their brokerage accounts, according to a news release. For more information, go to    www.activeindexing.com .
