First Mercantile Spiffs Up Web Site

March 4, 2003 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Participants in 401(k) plans at a Memphis bank company should have an easier time finding what they need on the company's Web site.

First Mercantile Trust Company said it had redesigned the site with better navigation tools and quick links to allow users to more easily jump to different segments of the site. In addition, a tour has been added for employees unacquainted with the site’s capabilities. Participants can find contact information for their investment consultant and client service representative.

The company said existing account management tools have been expanded to include confirmation screens, a participant profile system, improved loan and retirement calculators, and more instructions and descriptions to aid participants as they conduct account changes online.

First Mercantile delivers its products through investment consultants, brokerage firms, trust companies, and financial institutions.
