Fiserv to Pull In Benefits Administrator
April 15, 2003 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Fiserv Inc. has
agreed to pick up Wausau Benefits, a TPA for employee
benefits.

According to an announcement, the transaction for Wausau Benefits of Wausau, Wisconsin, is expected to close by the end of the month, subject to signoff by regulators. Terms were not disclosed. Fiserv said the annualized processing and services revenue for this business is approximately $120 million.
Wausau Benefits’ largest employee benefits administration service center is located in Wausau, Wisconsin. Clients also are served through operations in Tampa, Florida and Des Moines, Iowa. Wausau Benefits has more than 1,100 employees.
