Franklin Templeton Touts Two New Offerings
May 6, 2003 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Franklin Templeton
is launching two structured equity strategies that offer
institutional investors index-based investing that seeks to
limit risk.

FranklinStructured Large Cap Core Equity Fund and Franklin Structured Large Cap GrowthEquity Fund will seek to outpace their respective indices by using lowtracking error strategies. Franklin Structured Large Cap Core Equity Fund is benchmarked to the S&P 500, while Franklin Structured Large Cap Growth EquityFund is benchmarked to the Russell 1000 Growth Index, according to a news release.
These two strategies are available to institutional investors in the formof separate accounts and mutual funds. The mutual funds are distributed byFranklin Templeton Distributors, Inc.
