Global, Intl. Funds Forecast to Enjoy Bang-up 2005
November 29, 2005 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Net inflows to
US registered International and Global equity mutual funds
are projected to come out near $150 billion this
year.

A news release from Strategic Insight (SI), a New York mutual fund research and consulting firm, said 2005’s forecasted performance would represent a 40% increase from 2004.
So far in 2005, mutual fund investments outside the US have been almost double US net inflows. SI estimates that European net purchases of stock and bond mutual funds exceeded $320 billion during the first nine months of 2005, and Asian fund investors added more than $42 billion to their stock and bond funds during the same period.
