Individual programs in the campaign cover not only retirement planning but also overall financial and investment planning, according to a Great-West news release. For each program, participants are instructed through a series of video lessons supplemented by a downloadable workbook.
Financial planning topics covered in the “classroom” include:
- basic planning,
- investment strategies,
- education funding,
- life insurance,
- mortgages,
- debt reduction,
- estate planning, and
- effective integration of company-provided financial benefits.
Great-West said the program teaches the fundamentals of financial objectives and the variables that affect them, aiding participants in gathering the financial data they need and helping them define their goals and assumptions as well as create a strategy for attaining their goals.
