Guardian Helps with Questions and Answers on Benefits

September 9, 2010 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America (Guardian) has unveiled the Life and Disability Insurance Explorer an online educational tool using four questions to help people settle on their workplace insurance coverage.

A news release said the new offering is part of a new suite of online tools and resources to simplify the employee benefits open enrollment process.

The new Web site poses questions such as, “What do you eat for dinner?” and then translates the answers into a personal recommendation for insurance protection, according to the company.

“When it comes to Life and Disability insurance, people have an especially harder time knowing if they are making the right choices, and being overwhelmed often just results in taking no action.  Our Life and Disability Insurance Explorer gives people a contemporary way of looking at their financial protection needs,” said Elena Wu, Group Marketing and Worksite Officer, Guardian, in the news release.

The new tool is at http://www.aboutemployeebenefits.com/.

Guardian first announced the Employee Resource Center in which the new tool is located earlier this year (see Guardian Announces Employee Benefit Resource Center).
