Having it Educators' Way On the Web

October 11, 2002 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Educators in a retirement plan using Benefits Corp.'s retirement planning service can now have it their way on the Internet.

The Greenwood Village, Colorado provider announced that participants can customize the home page of the company’s EducatorsMoney site to feature information tailored to their investment circumstances.

The company said in an announcement that participants could choose from among the following options for their home page :

  • my name and plan name
  • current account balance
  • balance by investment option chart
  • balance by pie chart
  • most recent contribution
  • pending transfer notification
  • one month individual rate of return

Before the rollout of this home page feature, user surveys determined that the account balance page was, by far, the most requested option. So the personalized home page lets participants view all of their account balance information in one stop, the company announcement said.
