Hewitt Opts For PeopleSoft Tools for HR Outsourcing

June 25, 2001 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Human resource (HR) consulting giant Hewitt Associates has teamed up with HR software giant PeopleSoft to offer human resource consulting services to Fortune 1000 companies.

The agreement calls for Hewitt to use PeopleSoft 8 Human Resources Management Systems (HRMS) applications to provide its clients with Internet-based human resource outsourcing services.

Those services include:

  • workforce relationship management
  • recruiting and deployment
  • compensation
  • performance management
  • workforce planning
  • strategic staffing.

Hewitt has offered employee benefits outsourcing services since 1990, according to the company. Hewitt currently offers defined benefit, defined contribution, and health and welfare delivery services for more than 200 companies and 14 million employees, retirees and their dependents.
