House Education/Workforce Committee Passes HR 10

April 26, 2001 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - The House Education & the Workforce Committee unanimously approved the Portman-Cardin pension reform bill (H.R. 10).

The House Ways & Means Committee reported its portion of the bill yesterday by a bipartisan vote of 35-6. The full House is expected to consider the bill on the floor next week.

The bill currently has more than 300 cosponsors, including more than 125 Democrats.
