HR Systems Firms Develop Payroll Interface

March 25, 2003 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Corporate benefits officials looking for a better way to keep track of their incentive compensation plans may want to consider using a new product from two business software companies.

Synygy Inc., a provider of enterprise incentive management (EIM) software, announced it had teamed with HR program developer Ceridian to build a standard computer interface to ease the transition between incentive pay programs and payroll systems. With the new interface, the companies said, clients can transfer payroll related data between the systems without putting in additional technical or database resources.

The companies said their new interface also speeds delivery of payroll and variable pay information into regular pay and benefits reports and helps provide employees with an integrated and timely view of their total compensation.

The Minneapolis, Minnesota-based Ceridian offers HR, payroll, tax, benefits administration and other related systems. Synygy is based in suburban Philadelphia.
