Invesco to Offer Rival Funds in UK

April 9, 2001 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - British fund manager Invesco plans to offer rival funds, in addition to its own products, in its defined contribution investment service.

In total, 43 funds will be available through Invesco’s defined contribution products including those from:

  • Deutsche Asset Management
  • Morley Fund Management
  • Schroder Pensions
  • Threadneedle Pensions
  • Index tracking funds from Barclays Global Investors

The firm says it will not charge additional fees for customers to invest in rival funds.

In addition to its defined contribution products, which include occupational defined contribution schemes and group personal pensions, Invesco plans to launch a corporate stakeholder product with a choice of 32 funds, including those of rival managers.
