Jefferson Pilot Unit Offers New Dental Program

September 11, 2002 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Companies interested in sinking their teeth into a new dental plan with limited costs can now consider Scheduled Benefit Dental Plans from Benefit Partners.

Benefit Partners, Jefferson Pilot Financial’s employee benefits division, said the new product was aimed at firms with employer sponsored and employee-pay-all dental programs.

According to Benefit Partners’ media release, the new plans pay a specified amount for each covered service regardless of the amount charged by the dentist. The company said employers can choose to cover “usual & customary” benefits for preventive services like periodic exams, cleanings, and X-rays.
