Judge Sentences Woman to One Year for Pension Embezzlement
According to the Associated Press, a US district judge sentenced Leslie Schile, 45, to also serve three years of supervised release after her prison sentence is finished.
Schile made restitution of nearly $267,000 to the pension plan as part of the plea agreement, the US Attorney’s office told the AP.
The money Schile diverted from the pension fund to other business ventures resulted in a loss of $1.2 million by the pension fund for employees at Associated Technical Support Services, the US Attorney’s office said, according to the wire service,but none of the 20 to 30 workers should lose any money.
