Kline Named SE Sales Director for New York Life

May 14, 2008 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - New York Life Retirement Plan Services has tapped William R. Kline as vice president of sales for the southeastern United States.

According to a news release, the Raleigh, North Carolina-based Kline will be responsible for expanding the company’s 401(k) and defined benefit market segments throughout the region. He will report to Mark Strazzeri, managing director and head of sales.

The announcement said Kline, 43, joins New York Life from CAPTRUST Financial Advisors in Raleigh where he spent the last three years as managing director in its retirement plan advisory group.

Earlier in his career, Kline served as a national sales manager for Wachovia Corporation as well as in institutional equity sales for J.C. Bradford & Co. in Nashville.

Kline has his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Michigan and his Masters of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
