Lincoln Announces New Regional Boss for Wire Channel DC Sales

May 2, 2008 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Lincoln National Corporation has tapped Peter Welsh as Divisional Sales Director for the Western Division of the Wire Channel of the Lincoln Employer Markets' Defined Contribution business segment.

Welsh will report to Paul Swanson, Head of Intermediary Sales for Lincoln Employer Markets and will be responsible for managing and building the Wirehouse Channel for the Western Division of the country.

Prior to joining Lincoln Financial, Welsh was Senior Vice President for Transamerica Retirement Services and was most recently responsible for distribution and national accounts. His previous experience includes sales as well as sales management.

Welsh holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and a law degree from the Indiana University School of Law.
