Louis Finney Joins UBS

Finney is based in Chicago and will be responsible for the design and evolution of defined contribution solutions at both the technical and investment levels. He assumes a client-facing role, communicating the differentiators and advantages of these solutions to prospects, consultants, and clients.  

According to the announcement, Finney comes to UBS after 23 years at Mercer Investment Consulting, Inc., most recently serving as a principal and the head of capital markets research. There he specialized in asset allocation and asset/liability modeling, and developed tools to help analyze the impact of strategic asset allocation decisions on client outcomes. Finney previously worked at Berkowitz, Logue & Associates and taught in the Mathematics Department at the University of Maryland. He is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University, where he earned his BA in political economy; he received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Maryland.
