Manulife Improves Canadian Group Pension Site

May 10, 2001 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Manulife Financial has enhanced its Canadian Group Pension Web site in an effort to make plan management more convenient for Canadian plan sponsors, the company announced Thursday.

The site allows sponsors to:

  • enroll plan members online,
  • submit contributions and
  • process payments electronically, and
  • use a one-touch process for pre-authorized debits.

Manulife says that its new electronic processing feature eliminates the need for manual processing.

Along with the online technology, the group has made a same-day service commitment to all clients who use the pre-authorized debit feature, provided contribution files are received electronically by 4pm on a business day.
