Manulife Launches Recordkeeping Software

October 29, 2001 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Manulife Financial has unveiled I:contributions, a software application that streamlines the recordkeeping function.

The new software, compatible with Microsoft Windows, and used in conjuction with Manulife’s file-creation tools, allows plan sponsors to submit participant contribution and address files through the Internet to Manulife.

At the start of each Internet submission, a plan’s contract information is refreshed from Manulife’s recordkeeping system and pre-populated into Icontributions.

This allows the plan sponsor to review plan information, make any changes or additions, then transmit the updated information to Manulife.

In conjunction with the launch of I:contributions, Manulife also introduced its Technology Startup Service.

A technology specialist will  work with plan sponsors to assess their technology environment and determine which combination of Manulife solutions works best for them.

From there, the specialist will walk the client through each step in the file-creation and submission process.
