MassMutual Adds "Push" E-Mail to RK Platform

July 21, 2003 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - MassMutual Retirement Services has announced three new online administrative services, including a "push" e-mail notification system that facilitates real-time plan administration for plan sponsors and third-party administrators (TPAs).

The e-mail technology provides sponsors and TPAs with the ability to track plan-processing events. Sponsors and TPAs designate contacts to receive e-mail notifications regarding each event, and the e-mails include links that provide recipients direct access to a secure Web page where event-status updates await, according to a MassMutual announcement.

A second new feature,   Delinquent Loan Monitoring, enables sponsors and TPAs to review a periodically generated report to see which participants have delinquent or suspended loans. Clients can now review these loan reports online, sort data by different categories, access detailed information by participant, and take immediate action.

A third new tool provides sponsors and TPAs an online custom-reporting feature that provides plan-level and participant summary financial information for a specified time frame. Plan sponsors can sort information by participant, investment option, contribution information, and loan information. Reports also can be downloaded to an Excel or Access file to facilitate sorting and printing.

The new services are enhancements to MassMutual’sTotal Retirement Center (TRC)  http://www.massmutual.com/retire .
