McGraw-Hill Unveils Workplace Litigation Protection Course

September 11, 2001 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - McGraw-Hill Lifetime Learning has developed a course to educate employees on how to best avoid lawsuits.

The program, called Civil Treatment for Employees (CTE), is part of the group’s Human Resources and Organizational Effectiveness Library and can be delivered via Internet, intranet, CD-ROM, or by traditional instructor-led training.

The course is divided into six topics:

  • Introduction to Civil Treatment
  • Harassment Defined
  • Mutual Banter
  • Workplace Conversations
  • Racial Bickering
  • Internal Complaints

The course uses tutorials to introduce basic concepts, accompanied by sidebars containing supplementary resource information and an evaluation.

Upon completion of the course and a final assessment, users can print a certificate of completion.

A companion course, Civil Treatment for Managers, will be released later this year.
