Mercer Expands Capacity to Support Pension Risk Transfer

The group works with clients in developing and implementing pension risk management strategies, pension risk transfer and plan termination.

Hughes worked for Towers Perrin, and later, Towers Watson for more than 20 years. Prior to joining Towers Perrin, he worked as a director of marketing within the Asset Management and Pension Services group at Travelers Life Insurance Company.   

Hughes earned his bachelor’s in marketing from the University of Rhode Island and his master’s in business administration in finance from the University of Hartford. He also holds a CFA charter and is a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS).
