Mercer Names Health & Benefits Partner

April 29, 2013 ( - Jay Savan has joined Mercer’s Health & Benefits business in Atlanta as a partner focusing on larger employers.

Prior to Mercer, Savan worked at Towers Watson in St. Louis, where he provided consulting leadership for numerous large clients across the Midwest and led the region’s health and benefits sales efforts. He also led the firm’s national consumerism practice since 2002. Prior to joining predecessor firm Towers Perrin, Savan held leadership and consulting positions at other top-tier firms.

Savan holds a B.S./B.A. from the University of Missouri, an M.B.A. from Loyola Marymount (Los Angeles), the professional designations of CLU, ChFC, CEBS and is also a Certified Financial Planner.
