Mercer Names New Leader of Investment Businesses

May 19, 2008 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Mercer's investment consulting and investment management businesses will now report to Phil de Cristo in the newly-created position of president and group executive of Mercer's investment businesses.

de Cristo was previously president and global head of Mercer’s investment management business. According to a Mercer announcement, Rich Nuzum will succeed de Cristo in this role.

de Cristo will continue to report to M. Michele Burns, Mercer’s chairman and chief executive officer, and Nuzum will report to de Cristo.

Nuzum was previously head of Mercer’s investment consulting business for the Americas. He will be succeeded by Jeffery Schutes previously US national business leader of Mercer investment consulting.

Andrew Kirton, who has been appointed president and global head of investment consulting, will also report to de Cristo. Kirton previously led Mercer’s European investment consulting business.

Finally, the announcement said Ken Crotty, formerly global chief operating officer for investment management, will assume that title for Mercer’s investment businesses and will report to de Cristo.
