Mercer Updates Web Site with New Content
June 24, 2009 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Mercer announced a
Web site redesign, which it said includes a variety of
information on how employers can survive a tough business
climate.
Reported by Fred Schneyer
According to a news release, the new site includes interactive content – including videos, podcasts, white papers, flipbooks and more – aimed at dealing with four critical business issues.
Those issues are:
- Cost and performance– managing the workforce and its related financial costs in ways that enhance efficiency without compromising prospects for future growth.
- Risk and control– identifying risks that pose the greatest potential harm to the company and protecting against them.
- Reform and regulation– developing best practices for complying with new workforce laws alleviating the impact of future rules that arise from changing social and political views.
- Restructuring and enterprise value– managing the restructuring process to preserve the company’s enterprise value while setting the stage for top performance in the newly restructured organization.
Additionally, the Web site provides the findings from Mercer’s latest “ Leading Through Unprecedented Times” survey which was conducted in May and summarizes the challenges related to talent, compensation, benefits and investment strategies that organizations are facing in today’s changing economy.
The site is at http://www.mercer.com/home.htm .
