Merrill Unveils Web Site Upgrade
May 1, 2002 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Plan sponsors and
participants in retirement plans at Merrill Lynch can now get
broader access to plan information from the company's Web
site, the company announced.

Merrill said the site, Benefits OnLine, now offers a range of transaction capabilities including:
- enrollments,
- investment allocations,
- distributions,
- rollovers, and
- self-directed brokerage activities
Further, participants in Merrill’s retirement plans can access:
- stock market data,
- retirement and investment management planning tools,
- enhanced analytical tools allowing sponsors to run and then store plan reports,
- a database of plan historical information including statements, transaction confirmation and other historical documents
- a redesigned home page featuring frequently used information, and
- an enhanced education section about distribution and rollover services
Plan sponsors can use the site to update employee data in real time to speed up plan transaction processing.
