Morningstar to Provide Advice for The 401(k) Company

March 14, 2002 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - The 401(k) Company, a retirement plan provider, will provide online advice to its participants from Morningstar Associates, LLC.

According to a Morningstar announcement, The 401(k) Company will offer the research, education, and investment advice modules of Morningstar’s ClearFuture advice product.

ClearFuture gathers detailed financial information from participants, offers personalized goal planning, takes into account outside assets, offers a retirement income analysis, and helps investors test their risk tolerance, according to Morningstar.

The 401(k) Company, based in Austin, Texas, manages more than $5 billion in assets for 130 mid- to large-sized defined contribution plans. Morningstar, of Chicago, offers ClearFuture through more than 19,000 US corporate retirement plans.
