Mutual of Omaha Extends Reach with Marsh Alliance

April 28, 2003 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Mutual of Omaha has extended the reach of its retirement services programs, inking a national strategic marketing relationship with Marsh USA and Marsh Advantage America, through their securities broker dealer Marsh Insurance & Investments Corp.

The announcement builds on a working relationship already established between the two firms, Ryan Bauer, vice president of retirement plans at Mutual of Omaha, told PLANSPONSOR.com .   However, Bauer says the newly expanded relationship has already begun to generate results.

According to Charles C. Ledbetter, senior vice president and national practice leader for both Marsh USA and  Marsh Advantage America , the companies will use Mutual of Omaha’s nationwide network of sales and relationship managers to meet the needs of their retirement plan clients.  

Marsh has more than 400 retirement plan clients nationwide with total assets in excess of $2.3 billion, according to the firm.   Marsh Advantage America focuses on firms with less than 300 employees, while Marsh USA focuses on employers with 300 to 2,000 employees.  

Mutual of Omaha currently serves more than 1300 group retirement customers.
