Nationwide Hires Rolph for Sales Job

December 20, 2010 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – Nationwide Financial Services has turned to Charles F. Rolph as Director of Advanced Sales.

A news release said Rolph will provide advisers with sales support in the areas of qualified retirement plans, employee welfare benefit plans, and executive compensation arrangements. Rolph will use his 17 years of experience as an Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) attorney to help advisers make sure that their clients are taking advantage of opportunities available, the company said.

“Our Advanced Sales team is dedicated to providing advisers with the support they need to be successful in today’s marketplace,” said Gail Chrisley,associate vice president of Advanced Sales for Nationwide Financial, in the news release.

Rolph joins Nationwide after having concluded his private practice of employee benefits law in Indianapolis. His professional experience also includes time spent as an advanced sales and pension specialist with an Indianapolis-based life insurance company, and as general counsel of an actuarial and employee benefits consulting firm.

Rolph received his law degree from the University of Nebraska and his Master of Science in Financial Services degree from the American College.
