Nationwide Offers Retirement Resources for Public Sector

These resources include a Web site, retirement checklist, educational workshops, and event support for plan sponsors.   

“This week should serve as a reminder for all workers, regardless of whether they support the public- or private-sector that they need to take a proactive role in preparing for their retirement,” said Anne Arvia, Senior Vice President of Retirement Plans for Nationwide Financial, in a press release. “We encourage workers to use National Save for Retirement Week as an opportunity to review their retirement plans and to take action.”   

National Save for Retirement Week is an initiative led by the National Association of Government Defined Contribution Administrators (NAGDCA) to raise awareness about the importance of saving for retirement and to encourage workers to take full advantage of their employer-sponsored retirement plans.
