NEBCO Opens PBM Wing

March 12, 2004 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - National Employee Benefit Companies (NEBCO) has created a pharmacy benefits management (PBM) division.

The Warwick, Rhode Island-based employee benefit wholesale brokerage firm and third-party administrator announced the creation of IdealScripts, which will provide administrative pharmacy services and customer service to existing NEBCO customers.   In addition, IdealScripts will also expand pharmacy benefits for existing clients who do not already receive administrative services from NEBCO.

Through IdealScripts, customers will be able to take advantage of services such as claims adjudication, customer service, national pharmacy networks, preferred drug lists, mail order services, clinical services, online reporting, querying capabilities and internet pharmacy services.
