New Firm Offering Public Sector Solutions Appoints Marketing Officer

October 7, 2008 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Tegrit Financial Group, a private venture capital firm focusing on financial and management solutions for the public sector, announced that Corinne Larson has joined the corporation as its Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President.

In her role, Larson is responsible for all aspects of the corporation’s marketing, including the development of new products for the pension and public sector markets, according to the announcement. Prior to joining Tegrit Financial, Larson was a director of marketing with Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. in the Pension, Endowment, and Foundation Services Group.

Larson also served as assistant director in the Research Center of the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) where she was responsible for the association’s cash management programs, the announcement said. She is an advisor on GFOA’s Standing Committee on Cash Management and was formerly an advisor on GFOA’s Committee on Retirement and Benefits Administration.

Tegrit Financial was launched earlier this year as a venture capital initiative by the Municipal Employees’ Retirement System of Michigan (MERS) to offer other governmental entities the benefit of its own expertise on public sector financial issues (See New Firm Offers Pension and Other Solutions for Public Sector ).
