New FTSE Index ETFs Available

provider FTSE Group has unveiled eight tradable indexes in
the new FTSE European Sector Index Series scheduled to go
live on Monday with exchanged-traded funds (ETFs).

According to a company media release, the new ETFs are from iShares, an ETF provider managed by Barclays Global Investors (BGI).
There are now 26 ETFs listed on FTSE’s European indexes, with almost $810 million in assets under management, the company statement said. The development of the FTSE European Sector Index Series follows from the launch of the FTSE Global Sector Index Series in February 2001.
The new index series covers eight of the most traded sectors, according to the announcement.
