HealthChoices HP, from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) was developed for employers that want to provide their workers with customized benefits and health-provider information via their intranet sites.
The resource includes:
- a customized version of NCQA’s Health Plan Report Card, which lists the accreditation status of the employer’s health plan, updated monthly
- a tool that helps users locate doctors and hospitals affiliated with their health plan, also updated monthly
- links to customized sections of other sites that provide comprehensive health, drug, and disease-specific content.
HealthChoices HP also enables employers to post specific benefit information, including benefit-plan descriptions, employee contributions, and human resources policies and procedures.
