The e-signature capability, which allows participants to sign documents online, is 100% compliant with government electronic signature regulations, according to the company. Participants can also view signed documents online. Participants must first provide some basic personal information before the capability can be accessed, however.

The Newport Group’s Web site,  www.plandestination.com , offers performance and account information, stock-market updates, transaction capabilities, investment research, education services, and financial planning programs.

The Newport Group, based in Heathrow, Florida, has over 500 plans with over $6 billion is assets.
