OneAmerica Updates Financial Preparedness Website
An updated retirement readiness and financial wellness website released by OneAmerica features an “extensive library of materials” allowing plan sponsors to “focus on specific topics and resources that will resonate most with their employees.”
The website also contains participant-directed materials aimed at optimizing utilization of retirement benefit offerings.
Marsha Whitehead, vice president of marketing, communications and customer service, says the updated website has been crafted based in part on the findings of a 2016 survey of 10,000 retirement plan participants. Survey results showed only 40% of participants consider themselves either knowledgeable or very knowledgeable about retirement savings.
To help boost that number, the updated website offers pertinent videos and a variety of calculators to help assess student loan debt, tax issues and retirement preparedness.
