PA Firm Offers SRI K Plan

January 27, 2005 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - A Williamsport, Pennsylvania benefits firm has unveiled a K plan with core investment options chosen from socially responsible investing fund families.

A news release from the Malvern Benefits Corp. said that its Socially Responsible 401(k) product will use its existing K plan administration, trade execution, recordkeeping and compliance services. The announcement said plans can also offer additional investment options chosen from Malvern’s menu of more than 4,000 offerings.

“What we’ve done is leverage the existing investment option flexibility of the Malvern Advantage and allow plan sponsors to focus in on the investment options that suit their needs – in this case, a core of socially responsible investments,”   Vice President of Sales and Marketing Gary Camarano said in the announcement.
