Pan-American Beefs Up 401(k) Plan Fund Lineup

sponsor clients of Pan-American Life can now choose their
fund lineup from a broader menu of investment
offerings.

Pan-American announced that it had added four mutual funds:
- Vanguard GNMA – domestic taxable fixed income
- BNY Hamilton – small-cap growth
- Mutual European A – regional equity
- Oppenheimer Global A, – international equity
The company said it decided to add the funds after consulting with Standard & Poor’s, which evaluates funds on a number of factors including category performance, style consistency, fund management, and risk adjusted returns. Pan-American said it might add nine more funds in the near future.
The company’s 401(k) clients can select up to 20 of Pan-American’s 80 recommended funds, according to the announcement.
